The
Soi Dog Foundation

Soi Dog’s mission is to improve the welfare of dogs and cats in Asia, resulting in better lives for both the animal and human communities, to create a society without homeless animals and to ultimately end animal cruelty.

Established in 2003 on the island of Phuket, Thailand, Soi Dog Foundation is S.E Asia's largest organization helping stray animals. It has permanent facilities in Phuket and Bangkok and responds to crisis situations throughout the region. The organization is dedicated to implementing effective, sustainable solutions that reduce the suffering of dogs and cats in Asia. The foundation runs entirely on donations and works efficiently so all donations are used to help animals as effectively as possible.

Dedicated to the treatment of stray animals, the most advanced shelter hospital in Southeast Asia is located on site in Phuket and treats over 300 new cases every month. The hospital has 14 full-time vets and welcomes vet volunteers from all over the world. Learn more here, or go directly to the Soi Dog website.

Oregon Dog Rescue

A no-kill shelter with a unique social environment.

This no-kill shelter saves dogs not only in Oregon, but around the country! Oregon Dog Rescue is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit, located in Tualatin, Oregon. The organization was started in 2007 by two women dedicated to helping animals in need as a foster-based rescue. They have grown over the years and our brick and mortar facility can accommodate up to 65 dogs at a time.

Their dogs come from overcrowded shelters near and far. Local owners who can no longer keep their dogs due to various hardships and from high-kill shelters all over the West Coast. They accept dogs from Washington, Oregon, California, Hawaii, Texas, New Mexico as well as Mexico. Partnering with communities overwhelmed by their homeless dog population, ultimately lowering the euthanasia rate in those counties. Oregon Dog Rescue also serves as a collection site for donations that they then disperse to the immediate community as well as their partner shelters along the West coast.
